Traditional Yoga Teachings – The Journey of Alignment

Hatha yoga is an ancient, holistic science designed to unite the body, breath, and mind, rooted deeply in the traditional upbringing I received in the Himalayas.

To help you explore this path fully, we offer three distinct yet deeply interconnected services: Traditional Hatha Yoga, Classical Pranayama, and Sacred Mantra Meditation.

Traditional Hatha Yoga (Asana)

Rooted in the eight limbs of yoga, Hatha Yoga is taught in the traditional way to discipline the physical body, build physical strength, and master outer alignment. It disciplines the physical body and builds strength through outer alignment.

What is Hatha Yoga?

Authentic, traditional Hatha Yoga that moves beyond modern fitness trends to explore asana

What are the benefits?

Disciplines the physical vessel, builds deep-seated physical strength and flexibility, and establishes the foundational stability needed for stillness.

Why we do it?

To prepare the body as a fit temple, grounding our energy so we can step further inward.

When do we do Hatha yoga?

Available in daily 45-minute sessions (both online and in-person) within safe, welcoming spaces designed to help you turn your focus inwards.

Pranayama (The Science of Breath)

Pranayama is an ancient yogic practice of conscious breath regulation, derived from the Sanskrit words Prana, meaning “life energy”, and Ayama, meaning “regulation”. In the traditional yogic path, Atha Yoganushasanam initiates the discipline of the mind and consciousness, while pranayama serves as the essential bridge connecting the physical body, the subtle mind, and our inner energy system.

What is Pranayama?

Authentic, classical breathwork practices rooted in traditional teachings, designed to cultivate prana and clear the subtle energetic pathways (nadis) within the body.

What are the benefits of Pranayama?

Removes stress, calms the nervous system, regulates energy, and supports emotional balance, deeper concentration, chakra awakening, and greater mental clarity.

Why we do breathwork?

To steady the breath is to steady the mind. Through mindful and controlled breathing, we create greater balance within, allowing you to move through the complexities of modern life with grace, awareness, and balance.

When do we do breathwork?

Practised as a daily anchor or weekly session (available in 45-minute slots, both online and in-person) to reset your energy and realign your inner state.
